DVD ripping is very slow in Windows 7
Hello everyone, I am using Windows 7 Ultimate operating system with 2 GB RAM and Core2Duo processor. The DVD ripping is very slow in Windows 7 and I cannot understand why this is happening. If anyone has any idea about the situation, kindly help as soon as possible. Is this the problem of the operating system? My friends have suggested that a change of the ripping software will solve the problem.

It is possible that the software that you are using for ripping the DVDs is not fully compatible with this particular operating system. This may be the reason why the DVD ripping is very slow in Windows 7. There are problems with many such applications and softwares in this operating system. So, I suggest you to run the hardware and software evaluation tool in your system and this will know if this software is incompatible with Windows 7 or not.

Because of such problems, it is advised by many experts that installation or upgradation to this operating system should be avoided. There are no problems with the previous version of the Windows operating systems like XP and Vista and even after that the users are switching to Windows 7.

You may be using an old version of the ripping software and this may be the reason why DVD ripping is very slow in Windows 7. Such problems are encountered with the old versions of the softwares and applications that are used in Windows 7. So, using the latest version of the particular software will solve the problem, since the developers are making it a point that the new versions released should support fully in Windows 7.

It seems that you have installed the trail version of the operating system because of which DVD ripping is very slow in Windows 7. So, if you use the latest version of Windows 7, then such problems can be avoided. I have seen such problems in many of friend's system who were using the trial version of this operating system. So, using the full version will hopefully solve this problem.
