Re: Maximum rows in Excel 2010
As far as the ms Excel is concerned i think that the number of rows have not been changed yet. If you want to increase the number of rows of the ms excel 2010. Then i have heard that some add in is available which can increase the number of rows & columns to infinite. Hope this will help you .
Re: Maximum rows in Excel 2010
Thanks for replying me but i would like to know why this is not possible in the excel 2010 also i would like to know whether there is any possible option which will help me to achieve this functionality. Also if possible can you please help me to achieve this expansion in the number of rows. Thanks again
Re: Maximum rows in Excel 2010
This all depends on what you are actually working with because if you are working with the external data then you can use PowerPivot in the ms Excel 2010 this is an addin which will help you to exceed 1,048, 576 rows but your row limit will be only upto 2 GB in terms of memory capacity or size.
Re: Maximum rows in Excel 2010
I think you can achieve this by storing the data in the MS Access program and then you can try to return the ggregated results in Excel in a pivot table return aggregated portions of data to Excel using MS Query return aggregated portions of data to Excel using ADO or VBA. Hope this will help you.
Re: Maximum rows in Excel 2010
It is quiet hard to answer this query because if you are working with the Externeal data then you can simply try to make use of the pivot table which is replaced powerpivot in excel 2010 you will have to use this addin. This will definitely increase the number of rows in excel but this too has some limit.
