I am using Windows Vista operating system and I use Selkie Photo Recovery to recover the images that are lost or accidentally deleted from the system. I will be upgrading my system to Windows 7 soon. But, many of my friends have said that Selkie Photo Recovery is not working in Windows 7. When they try to install Selkie Photo Recovery, it gives an error saying that "This setup is not made for this operating system". All possible replies and suggestions are duly appreciated.
To prevent problems like Selkie Photo Recovery is not working in Windows 7, it is suggested to quit upgradation to Windows 7 and use a dual boot system while installing Windows 7 in the system. So, the applications and programs that do not work in Windows 7 can be run in the other operating system by simply restarting the computer. The screen that appears in the beginning from where you can select the operating system is called as Windows Boot Manager.

You will have to use the hardware and software evaluation wizard to make sure the reason behind why Selkie Photo Recovery is not working in Windows 7. If it is an incompatibility issue, then the software will be listed among the incompatibilities in the system. Search the internet for the alternatives and complements that are available in the market if it is shown as incompatible.
If Selkie Photo Recovery is not working in Windows 7, then download the compatibility tool from the internet. This tool has been released to solve such incompatibility issues in Windows 7.
