Re: Save pictures via live messenger 2009
It could be little tricky but could search images by searching them with their extension , if you have remember the type of images you received from your friends. And also look into "Pictures" folder in libraries of the windows 7, its the default folder to save images received by other applications.
Locate recived file in live messenger 2009
Simply put, you just have to click on start and type in the search bar on top the photo name, and you'll know where they are!
I think it is in C:\Users\Your Account\Documents\My Received Files
Change file transfer location in windows live messenger 2009
Look at the path is in Windows live messenger Tools => Options => File Transfer. If you want to change the path to save files then here is the step wise procedure:
- Select Tools, and then click Options.
- In the left pane, click File Transfer.
- Under Save received files in this folder, click Change, and then select the folder where you want to save your incoming files.
- Click OK.

Re: Save pictures via live messenger 2009
I think you have lost images, or someone have deleted them. Use, PC Inspector Smart Recovery, Program light and amazingly simple, you will both smile and images you thought lost forever. Click Start and let PC Inspector Smart Recovery do the rest. Your images, files or any video or audio you are looking for, will appear in the folder you chose.
