Intel X3100 drivers won't respond until Windows starts
I have a hcl me laptop. It is running windows 7 previously i was not getting the windows 7 startup screen what i can see was just the hcl bios screen, after sometimes it use stays black until the login or welcome screen appears which clearly indicates that the Intel X3100 drivers are not loaded until Windows is started. Any help in this matter would be appreciated highly. Thanks in advance.
Re: Intel X3100 drivers won't respond until Windows starts
It sounds like that your CHKDSK utility is not running properly during the startup of your system and hence try to check that it works correctly and performs the assigned functions correctly. Because if it is not functioning correctly you might not see the display because it was not started during the startup. Hope this works.
Re: Intel X3100 drivers won't respond until Windows starts
I think you need to run the registry optimizer which will make your system a lot more responsive during the start-up and one's it becomes a lot more responsive then it becomes quiet obvious that it will gather all the information during startup including the drivers too. Hope fully this will fix your issue soon. If it does not then reply further.
Re: Intel X3100 drivers won't respond until Windows starts
Both these suggestions really could not work for me . CHKDSK utility is functioning correctly and also there is no problem it during startup. I also tried to run the registry optimizer prior to your suggestion and now it seems as this was where the real problem started since i did not backup my registry before running the registry optimizer.
Re: Intel X3100 drivers won't respond until Windows starts
Oh that seems quiet a simple problem. I think that you can get all your registry files back if you restore your system back to some restore point which were created before. After restoring your system back you can undo all your registry editions and your system will now become stable. this will definitely solve your issue.
Re: Intel X3100 drivers won't respond until Windows starts
As far as i know this error arised because of the change in the registry entry so i would advise you either to restore your system to a certain stable restore point. If this does not solve this issue then you might have to repair your system files. So insert the recovery disc and then select repair hope fully you will fix this issue soon.
