The JSF Framework follows the same procedure than other Java technologies like JSP, Servlets, EJB. ServerFaces Java framework (JSF) is a framework used for developing the Web related applications based on components, which allows the development of rich client interfaces while respecting MVC paradigm. It has inputs including Struts creator is also the primary developer and other Java technologies like Swing with its event model, servlets and JSP. JSF is part of standard Java EE, and is the result of the JCP.

Re: JSF Framework Vs Spring Framework
Hi friend,

The purpose of JSF Framework is to increase the productivity of developers in the development of interfaces user while facilitating maintenance. Java Server Faces is a framework of user interface for web applications based on Servlets and JSP technologies. JSF Framework provides support for different clients (HTML, XML, WML, , ...) through the separation of issues of building the interface and the rendering of this interface.

Re: JSF Framework Vs Spring Framework
JSF Framework is nothing but an application framework which is used for the creation of the Web based user interfaces. While Spring Framework doesn't depends on any particular model of the programming. And because of that the Spring Framework becomes more popular than JSF Framework. JSF Framework allows management of the Web application life cycle through the servlet controller.
