Windows 7 64 bit did not recognize 32GB Physical Memory
Hi,
Why the 64 bit edition of Windows 7 cannot identifies the 32 GB of Physical memory. What can be the issue. Is this disabled purposely by Microsoft. If yes then how to enable it. One thing I want to tell you that this is for the 64bit version of Windows Vista. And for a USB driver how to make it compatible to ReadyBoost. Thanks in advance.
Re: Windows 7 64 bit did not recognize 32GB Physical Memory
Windows 7 in 64-bit can recognize a physical memory of 32 GB but it is possible that your BIOS has not been correctly configured to allow such memory. To solve our problem, you must enable the Memory Remap option in your BIOS. But you must take care that this can effect your system settings. In case of any problem enter your BIOS and press on Load Fail Safe default.

First to do that enter your bios. That can be done pressing the Delete key to enter the BIOS. Depending on your motherboard, it might be F1 or F2. Then using the arrow keys, select the Advanced tab and press Enter. Go to North Bridge Configuration and press Enter. Select Memory Remap Feature and press Enter. Select Enabled and press Enter. Finally, press the F10 key, select OK and confirm with ENTER to save changes. Your Windows then recognizes all the memory installed.

Normally Windows Vista is enable with ReadyBoos technology. It is built to harness the speed of all types of new USb 2.0 drives. This also aim on improving the performance of windows. Here in this technology the memory is used as the cache system. This is applied for providing the system information to the disk.
Re: Windows 7 64 bit did not recognize 32GB Physical Memory
The Readyboost technology offers a random read speed (in blocks of 4 KB) of at least 3.5 MB / sec and a random write speed (in blocks of 512 Kb) of at least 2.5 MB / sec. When you plug in your usb it is detected automatically as a plug and play device. And if you have the same enabled on your computer you can work on it more smoothly. Otherwise it is a compatibility issue.

When introducing a USB key into the PC, Vista will automatically check its compatibility (ie, performance) with ReadyBoost. In the Start menu, select Computer. Then right click on the icon of the key and ask the Properties. Go to the ReadyBoost tab. The function is grayed out if the key is not compatible.
