After which i click continue this closes the box but nothing happens at that point and no installation progress can be seen. So please help in regarding this matter.
Re: CS4 premiere pro installation problem
First thing which i would like to know is that whether you are using a legitimate copy or not unless and until you specify this i could not help you out in this matter so please try to reply with this specification so that we can help you out in this matter. Because using a pirated copy is not legal in my country and hence i cannot suggest a solution
Re: CS4 premiere pro installation problem
Let me make it clear that i am using a legitimate copy of the Adobe creative suite 4 premiere pro and also i am aware that using a pirated copy is considered as crime. So can you tell me what is the actual problem behind the installation problem and why the installation is stopped even if i click on the continue button.
Re: CS4 premiere pro installation problem
The only solution to you problem is to temporarily disabling the UAC (User access control). If you don't know the procedure to do so i have mentioned dome steps below which will help you in disabling the UAC.
1. Go to the control panel.
2. Now select user accounts.
3. Select Turn User Account Control on or off option.
4. Uncheck Use UAC to help protect your computer.
5. Now click OK and reboot your system.
However I am not very much certain that this is the real problem but the setup should still start.
Re: CS4 premiere pro installation problem
I had suffered from the same problem in the past but i got it solved by disabling the UAC. I don't whether you are aware of disabling the UAC or not hence i am providing you the method to disable the UAC as follows:
* Open the start menu.
* click run and type in regedit and press the enter key.
* This will open the registry editor.
* In the registry editor follo the path below
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
* Now in the right pane right click on EnableLUA and select modify the enter "0" and then click on OK this will disable the UAC.
*close the regedit and restart your system.
Re: CS4 premiere pro installation problem
I think that reformatting your system will solve your installation problem. But it might not be a good option before doing this you can rip the install DVDs to a hard drive and install off the HD. Don't know why that works, but it has for me on a couple of installs. I used Dameon tools to rip and mount the install files. If nothing is working for you you can atleast try this it might work for you too.
