Hi,
I had downloaded Microsoft Security Essentials. I believe that the tool is much better for protecting a unsecured windows computer. The problem is that it has downloaded properly but the same setup is not running. The ring keeps on rotating showing nothing after that. That probably need to download a fresh copy back again. That is not a issue. All I want to know is about the features and overview of this application. Is it beneficial.

Security Essentials runs on Windows XP (32 bit only), Windows Vista and Windows 7, publishing 32 and 64 bits. Note that the antivirus installed only after verifying that your version of Windows reflects a legal version, with an identifier of its own. So that thing you will have to take care. It is a simple and powerful utility from Microsoft and easy to use also.
The software is of 4.7 MB something. So it is not a big deal to download it back again. But just make sure that you have license copy of Windows and not a pirated one. For the installation issue it is better to get a fresh copy and then run it. The installation is easy. Once you accept the terms then Security Essentials verifies the authenticity of our version. After a proper download run the application. It is has an user friendly interface and with simple accessible options.
