GeForce GTX 260 Graphics Card Error
I am running windows xp on my computer and i have recently installed GeForce GTX 260 graphics card and i am getting error code 43. I have tried to reinstall he card but no fix.., in device manager it shows yellow exclamation mark. I've done system restore and cleaned out some problem programs and error but it didn't solve the graphics card problem.
Re: GeForce GTX 260 Graphics Card Error
I assume that you have the latest BIOS update for your Motherboard and the latest gtx 260 driver update. Open up device manager, go to view by resource type, see if your card is assigned IRQ, and also see if somethings sharing it, the same IRQ.
Re: GeForce GTX 260 Graphics Card Error
The gtx 260 drivers controlling the gtx 260 graphics card notified the windows xp operating system that the gtx 260 failed in some manner. See if uninstalling the video driver and and reinstalling them can help.If you have already run the Troubleshooting Wizard, you might want to check the hardware documentation (gtx 260 manual) for more information about diagnosing the problem.
Re: GeForce GTX 260 Graphics Card Error
What drivers are you using? The error code 43 you are received has been due to the graphics card failing.. the gpu itself. Try this remove the video card and then reset it and Check your cmos battery> try removing and then swapping ram out and then reconnect all the component.
