Hi i am using a HP Pavilion DV2-1003AX laptop. Which is installed with windows vista operating system. I am facing some problem in checking version of MDAC, how to prevent java update balloon messages, error in Cannot open the file: mk:@MSITStore:, Command to Locate Scripts into the Directory, with the help DOS command how can I find MAC address. Can one help to solve this problem.

How to disable ‘Java Update Available’ Balloon Messages
Go to start button and then setting
Now open the Control Panel.
An then double-click the Java icon.
Then click the Updates tab option.
And then do Uncheck to the box for Checking for Updates Automatically.
Now do click Never Check.
And then click OK.

First Download and install the MDAC Component Checker.
Start the application from C:\CompChecker\CC.exe.

Press and hold the Windows Key + press R.
Type in a ru window regedit and click OK.
Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Software \ Microsoft \ DataAccess \ FullInstallVersion

To solve this issue, perform the following steps:
First click on the start button. And then click Start and then go to Run
Help File Error: Cannot open the file: mk:@MSITStore:Now type type regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\hhctrl.ocx itss.dll and click OK.
The file have to registry successfully, and you can able to execute this file

With the help of a dos command you can find MACaddress.
You may need the MAC Address of your network card to connect to a network secured using MAC Address Filtering. Here’s how to find it using DOS commands.
Press and hold the Windows Key plus press R.
And then type CMD in the field and press Enter.
Now type IPCONFIG /ALL plus press Enter.
The Physical Address of the system are listed that is the MAC Address of your network card.
