Deleted files are not stored in Recycle Bin
Hi I am using sony vaio laptop. And there is windows vista installed in it. Since last 1 week when I delete some data that are not stored in recycle bin but directlty deleted and disappear of recycle bin from the computer I did every thing like I had repair my computer's operating system, scan with the antivirus software but there is not effect in the recycle bin . Can any tell me that how to solve this problem. thanx in advance.

Try the following instruction.
I think that you have allocated very small size for the recycle bin or you may not emptying the recycle bin from the long time.
Right click on recycle bin
goto properties
and then custom size.
Increase the size of recycle bin
and then click ok.

You can also increase the size of recycle bin in safe mode command prompt.
Start your computer in safe mode in command prompt.
change the attribute of recyle bin type
attrib -s -h recycler
del recycler
Restart your computer to create a new recycle bin

Please follow instruction in windows vista.
* Click Start button and then click on the Control Panel.
* Click on Appearance and then Personalization,
* Click Personalization and then click Change desktop icons.
* Click to select the Recycle Bin check box, and then click OK.

The ownership of recycle bin is only change by the administrator.
Please follow step to get the owner ship of the recycle bin.
If your not an administrator then.
*Start the system as a administrator.
*With the help of windows explorer, search the directory.
*Select the properties and owner ship.
*Select option to get the owner ship of the directory.
*Restore the default permissions of directory .

Try the following instruction and check after each step that recycle bin is works or not.
* Do the right click on the recycle bin and select empty recycle bin.
* Do the right click on the recycle bin and select properties and then go to Global tab. Then unchecked "Do not move files to Recycle Bin"
*Click on the start button and then run. Type cmd in the run window to go in the command mode. Type rd /s /q c:\recycled. Restart your computer.
