Your radeon 9250 video card may be falling, but let's try one more thing. Turn off computer, open the case, and clean it inside, using compressed air. Remove video card and give the fan a nice cleaning, as well. Clean video card connectors with an eraser. Put it back. Restart computer.
Re: Error on ATI Radeon 9250 Graphics Card
Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43) A Code 43 error occurs when the device (radeon 9250) relays a trouble message to Windows through the device driver. Consult the hardware manual supplied with this device, or contact the device manufacturer’s technical support center for information about clearing this problem.
Re: Error on ATI Radeon 9250 Graphics Card
The error code that you are getting is due to one of the drivers controlling the device notified the operating system that the device failed in some manner. This error is caused by miscommunication between the motherboard chipset and the graphics card. This can be caused by using a motherboard that is incompatible or unsupported by Windows xp.

Have you checked your BIOS settings? Clear your BIOS or change settings may solve the problem. Did you remove the card that worked, and simply replaced it with the another one.
Re: Error on ATI Radeon 9250 Graphics Card
Uninstall the radeon 9250 driver using the option available on the Driver tab of the Device’s properties box. Next, in the Device Manager window, right-click on the device type of the radeon 9250 device you uninstalled, and then select the Scan for hardware changes command to launch the Add Hardware wizard and reinstall the driver.
