I to solve this problem I recommend you to do troubleshoot.
You should try "powercfg.exe /a" command to strobleshoot sleep mode.
Following are the steps for the same:

I). Select "Start" button, then write ?CMD? in the serch bar and start searching.

II). when you will get ?cmd.exe? command then please right click on it and select ?Run as administrator? option.

III). Then will see the "CMD command prompt".

IV). Then you have to provide below command to it

"powercfg.exe /a"

HI friend,

If you are using RC version, then please change it to the "RTM" version. The RC version often has issues of power management.

I also had sleep mode issue on windows 7 ith "RC". Now I have RTM version running on machine. and right now my all issues of the sleep mode is resolved.I guess that similar thing might happened with you also.

Try to do the above thing which may help you.

Hi,

"powercfg.exe /a" command can solve the sleep mode problem in windows 7. You will need to execute this command . To do this open the search box and search for "cmd.exe" file .

When you double click on this ,a new window will open. In this window you should type the command known as "powercfg.exe /a". Type this command and hit enter. Do only this process and lets see what happens.
