You can check out the same for the issues with your system by connecting your device with an external monitor. If it works then the issue is but ofcourse with your display screen. It may be damaged due to which it is not able to show any interface to you. You can test it by doing the suggested thing. Also if there an motherboard issue you can contact to the manufacturer.

Check for your display card. There can be a possibility that your display card may have gone damage. Contact to your Nvidia manufacturer or retailer or to the dealer from where you purchased your laptop. Check Nvidia's official website for the issue. This is quite a problem with the display adapter card which may be damaged due to some external entities like lower power consumption.

The problem may be with your display screen. It may be worn out. You need to contact to the manufacturer or visit HP's official site for further information regarding replacement. You can take the laptop to the dealer from where you purchase if its in warranty guide. Check out and you may get to the conclusion. Hope this might work for you. Good luck.
