How to remove postdata confirmation dialog
I'm having an issue with postdata confirmation. This is happening since i have downloaded latest Mozilla.Whenever I refresh the page or when i click a submit button on any web site a postdata confirmation is asked to be confirmed. The Message displayed is "To display the webpage again, Mozilla needs to resend the information you've previously submitted." I want to get rid of this confirmation. Please Help.
Re: How to remove postdata confirmation dialog
This is actually to seek the user's permission before moving to the next page since the page might contain some useful or sensitive personal data. There is actually not a sure solution for this. The Webforms controls will always make a form to submit via HTTP POST. This action will then cause a message to display which is called POSTDATA confirmation. This also happens when 1 tries to refresh the same page.
Re: How to remove postdata confirmation dialog
This issue doesn't has any real solution to it. The most appropriate reason for postdata confirmation would be a very unstructured programming done for the offending page. This programming is done by the webmaster. Another reason would that it has been designed to confirm the information and not to load the page directly from the cache.
Re: How to remove postdata confirmation dialog
As you are experiencing this problem with Mozilla, this might be the problem with the browser. This might be a default setting in Mozilla. You could try downloading some other browser. Microsoft's newly launched Internet Explorer 8 also has many similar features like Mozilla. Try the latest version of Internet Explorer 8 i.e IE 8
