The remove files of camera which cause an application run for the camera try this to remove cameraQuote:
remove /System/Library/QuickTime/QuickTimeUSBVDCDigitizer.component
remove /System/Library/Extensions/Apple_iSight.kext
- Go to System >> Library >> Quicktime
- Open that folder in terminal (cd)
- Get the QuickTimeUSBVDCDIgitizer.component file
- Once you find the file, open the containing hidden folder
- Make a directory there:
Quote:
Home folder > Library > Quicktime
(mkdir -p ~/Library/Quicktime)
- Copy the QuickTimeUSBVDCDIgitizer.component file there.
- Open photo booth to check
- done.
Create backup with this open Terminal and type the following command: mkdir /System/Library/QuickTime/.iSightBackup
Remove QuickTime componentfor iSight .Type the following command: mv /System/Library/QuickTime/QuickTimeUSBVDCDIgitizer.component /System/Library/QuickTime/.iSightBackup/
if you want to enable the iSight again, go to QuickTimeUSBVDCDIgitizer.component file back into the main QuickTime directory at /System/Library/QuickTime/
