First of all can you please tell us the exact model of your router? Can you be pretty sure that it's not the ISP that's the issue if all the attached computers disconnect? Do wired connections have the same issue? You can also try to reset the router to factory defaults and reconfiguring and see whether it works or not.

Download the firmware for Belkin F5D8236-4 from here. The Belkin QA Approved firmware for the F5D8236 N Wireless Router is the latest.
There are multiple versions of this product, please check the version number on the underside of your router to make sure you use the correct version.
For version 1 of the router. the latest firmware is version 1.00.02; it ships with version 11xx of the router. It includes support for a minor hardware change that was introduced in this version. It is backward compatible with version 10xx of the hardware..
For version 2 of the router, please be aware that there is a firmware for version numbers starting with 20 and version numbers starting with 21.
The firmware for both versions 2 and version 3 of the router here is the one with which the router ships.
