Remove ubuntu from boot loader
A had dual-boot with Ubuntu and XP Professional on my PC. well i uninstalled the ubuntu but its not removed from boot menu. How can i make the boot loader to not show the boot menu option for ubuntu anymore. I like to restore windows boot loader. Thanks a lot for any help.

With Windows XP recovery console try fixmbr , it repairs the master boot record of the boot disk. The fixmbr command is only available when you are using the Recovery Console.

For Windows XP , you need to follow the following steps:- First set your BIOS to boot from CD or DVD drive
- Put your Windows XP installation disc into your CD or DVD drive
- Boot up your computer and start from CD
- With your Windows CD. When asked, choose “repair” and launch fixmbr. This command replaces GRUB with Windows bootloader.
- eboot again and you have done.
