Windows XP calculator and games are missing
So I just wake up this morning and turned on my computer and to my surprise I was not able to find the inbuilt calculator or even the Windows XP games such as pinballs, hearts, solitaire on my computer. I think something might have disabled them and I cant even find them in Start > Programs. I have scanned my pc with avg and all seems well, no virus. So can anyone please tell me how to get Windows XP calculator and games back on my pc? Thank you

Re: Windows XP calculator and games are missing
If you want to get calculator and games back on your Windows XP system then you may need the XP CD and then follow the method given below:
Start, run, appwiz.cpl
Add/Remove Windows Components
Check Accessories.
If its already checked, uncheck it, run through the wizard and then recheck them and run the wizard again.

You can also use System Restore feature and restore your PC to a time just before the problem happened. Or if you have a XP recovery disc then you can also restore the missing calculator or games in Windows XP. You can also navigate to C:\WINDOWS\system32 and scroll down through the system 32 folder (DO NOT DELETE THINGS). Look for the missing programs there, everything is in alphabetical order: calc, mspaint, and your games are listed by name as well: freecell, mshearts, sol, spider, etc. If you find them there, you can click on and drag them to your start menu, or just right click and send to desktop.
