Dell bios password reset
If you really want to reset your BIOS password then remove your power cord out and also your battery too and the with a jumper grounded one end anywhere on chassis touch the VCC pin on the rom chip and any other chip which contains CMOS on your particular motherboard, this will clear your BIOS password, i have have try to do that and i worked out fro me hope it works for you too.

I won't suggest you to do such kind of things it might happen that it would burn out or damage your laptop too in such case the best solution is to call Dell support center because every laptop has a master password which will clear the BIOS password. You can get this number by calling Dell Technical Support at (800)624-9896 over where they will request you to provide the Service Tag and Express Service Code from the bottom of your Inspiron.
