Note that all softwares doesn't work on Windows 7 because, the software developer has not yet made a compatible version of their software for windows 7 as windows 7 is still in its beta stages... Once Windows 7 RTM is out, you will have a lot of software that will be created for Windows 7 compatibility...
I'm don't sure about that because still in the moment there are lots of programs that don't work on Vista. But I'm hope you're right.
