Some Verizon mobile doesn't use sim cards and unless you bring an unbranded device and another service should also support that device, then only it will work.
Verizon number will work on boost mobile, only if the phone network is not locked. If you have a boost mobile phone, Try putting your USIM card in that phone and make a call. If it works, then the phone is not network locked.
