How to sort column in alphabetical order?
Hi,
I am a newbie here.
I am working with Ms excel for the first time & I have stored all my Contacts with Phone numbers, Mobile numbers, addresses & email ids in the excel sheet.
But the problem is that I want to make the column to show the contacts alphabetically. I mean to sort the column in alphabetical order?
I know it can be done in excel but don't know how?

Sort data in Excel spreadsheet
1. To apply a sort in Excel, highlight the data that you wish to sort.
2. Under the Data menu, select Sort.
3. When the Sort window appears, select the columns that you wish to sort by.
4. Click on the OK button.
5. Now when you return to the spreadsheet, the data should be sorted.

Hey I have a same question but I want to do it through VBA project for the excel spreadsheet.
Is there any guide or tutorial for Macro?
Re: How to sort column in alphabetical order?
Try Manual sort order.
Vba code to sort manually you need to set the position properly for PivotItem.
Always set error checking.
Code:
On Error Resume Next
PT.PivotFields("Region").PivotItems("South").Position = 1
On Error GoTo 0
I hope this helps you.
