A computer doesn't work on its own... Can any one help me? I cannot get any USB device to work... :crybaby: Please help mates! Thanks!:notworthy
Re: Computer stopped recognizing external hard drive and uninstalled usb controllers
There is a simple solution for it. Just install the USB drivers and every USB device will start working as before. You might have the motherboard CD. Just insert the disk in the ROM and let it auto run. It must install the drivers, if it doesn not auto play, install the drivers manually... :thumbup1:
Re: Computer stopped recognizing external hard drive and uninstalled usb controllers
Thanks mate, for giveing some time and helping. I cannot install the drivers. The CD doesn't auto play and i cannot install the drivers manually to. What do i install if nothing is detected? No USB related hardware is ever detected since the drivers vanished. Any other way to do this? Is my USB Controller on the motherboard damaged? Please help... :crybaby:
Re: Computer stopped recognizing external hard drive and uninstalled usb controllers
Well this may sound silly, but you need to try this :
- Reboot Computer
- Enter BIOS Settings
- See if USB is not disabled
- If its disabled, enable it
Then booting into windwos will detect USB Host Controller... :thumbup1:
