How do i clean up printer rollers of my Epson 1270 printer
I'm having a Epson 1270 printer attached to my system. From last few days whenever i'm trying to give out any print outs from my Epson 1270 printer, i get black ink all over the paper. I think the rollers seem to have been saturated with ink. So, i would like to know that how do i clean up my printer rollers of my Epson 1270 printer? Does any body knows about it? Kindly provide the correct solution for the above issue.

You will find two types of rollers on your printers. One with having hard plastic and second with rubber. The plastic roller can be cleaned with alcohol (isopropyl). Whereas the rubber roller can be cleaned with a rubber roller cleaner and can used it as restorer like the one in the ink.

I think it actually happens when fibers from paper and the ink residue accumulate on the tabs and that too when the rollers are attached to it. When it get separated, it falls on the roller and causes the ink flow on the paper. You can try to clean it off with the help of some q-tips and try to run some paper on your printer until you resolve the issue.
