Unable to install Realtek Sound card on Windows Xp
Just few days i had assembled my pc with intel dual core processor (2.6 Ghz) and had installed Windows Xp on it. Now the problem is that i'm trying to install realtek sound card on my pc, but can not install it. Whenever i try to install realtek sound card its not allowing me to complete the installation process on my pc. Can any body tell me that why i'm not able to install realtek sound card on my pc? Does any body know about it? Kindly help me out to get rid of the above issue.

According to me i think you must be having a faulty audio chip. I think you should uninstall the driver and then reboot and then try to install kb888111xpsp2.exe on your system. Then again reboot your system and then install realtek driver on your pc.

I think the problem is with your video card. Try to disable it by going in to the BIOS,. then try to load your audio driver and then try to re-enable the video card on you system.

You should try to download Realtek ALC audio driver from the internet, after selecting the appropriate operating system.
