Set warning sound for Caps lock,Num lock in Windows 7
I bought a PC with windows 7 operating system for my kids, so that they can learn and increase their typing capabilities. I heard somewhere that windows 7 notifies with a sound when caps lock or num lock is on. I'd like to make it enable so that it will be helpful for the kids. Could you guys let me know how to enable that?

Thats a good idea to make kids make less mistake while typing. Enabling warning sound for caps lock, num lock is very easy. Go through this:-
Go to start, click on control panel.
Now go to Ease of Access Center and click on Make the keyboard easier to use.
Here you'll see the checkbox infront of Turn on Toggle Keys, Mark it. It will look like this:
Click ok. Thats it !!

Thats is really good feature in windows 7. Even we come across this situation while caps lock gets on by mistake and we keep on typing. Is there any way we can make notification in windows Xp ?

As there is no such feature in windows xp but you can use a third party application for the same. Its NumCapsScroll Indicator. It works fine under Windows XP Service Pack 3. The display can be moved around freely on the desktop but it places itself by default in the lower right corner just above the system tray and system clock.
