Re: divx playback problem
Does the PC is up to date? (Update, Service Pack)
Are you getting an error message, or the PC restarts without saying anything?
Check this, the automatic restart:
- Click on "My Computer", then "Properties"
- Go in the "Advanced" tab, then under "Startup and Recovery", click on "Settings"
- Uncheck "Automatically Restart"
You may have a blue screen crash to the next, post it here to see what it says ...
Re: divx playback problem
Yes the pc is upto date.
I followed the instructions and I had an error message on a blue background that said:
A problem has been detected and Windows has been edge to prevent damage to your computer.
Consult your hardware vendor for any BIOS update

Re: divx playback problem
try installing the video codec(s) again - ffdshow is useful. Also Combined-Community-Codec-Pack-2007-07-22.exe. Disable dual-view - see if its that causing a problem...
