If you are running a Microsoft operating system, Microsoft recommends that you only have one anti-virus installed.
I use Norton and am really happy with. But it is very important to keep it up-to-date to secure your computer. Secure your machine with anti-virus and a firewall.
I have Spyware Doctor, Advanced Windows Care and Avg Free. But they all are not necessary. SPY DOCTOR works good and provide best results. If you run two at a time, you have a conflict. Then you can disable and run one at a time. I would never run any product without a restore point exception may be CCleaner is safe.
Yes, you can keep both the antivirus on your pc. But first of all, disable the norton before installing AVG. It affects the system as the one would be interfering with the other. You can try installing one anti malware instead of installing 2 antivirus.
