I have an HP laptop (I do not know if it is to take) and it works with Vista. When I try to install the Sims 2, the successful but impossible to play games I was advised to download several patches but nothing happens Can someone help me?

No, this is not an inconsistency, if so this would be serious Can you give more details when you say that you can not play games? A window opens, or not at all? Black screen?
Infact the game moves very well. The only problem is that when the game starts it loads And this is when loading it freezes . It can remain for hours in the process of loading in the end it does not work.
Have you tried to uninstall completely, well defragment your disk before you deliver? it is quite large.
