Video problems with Intex USB TV Tuner card
Hi guys,
I recently bought a new Intex USB Tv tuner card for my laptop. I have a problem with the video displayed. The color is not natural. Its different than the normal signal. For ex. Yellow is displayed as green, and the normal skin color is displayed as purple.
I captured the signal through the software provided, and saved it as MPEG and the color in the saved file was proper even though the video on screen was not.
Does anyone know why this would be happening? Can anyone help me resolve this problem? My laptop is installed with Vista home basic.

that can be problem of less memory Ram due to which capturing is not done in proper manner ..so first you can improve virtual memory and try again keep system for maximum performance ..
Re: Video problems with Intex USB TV Tuner card
You have done what actually anyone would do after buying a new hardware.
1.See the resolution of your Laptop. if it is more than 1024*768 reduce it.
2.Did you buy the correct USB TV Box for Laptops? There are two categories.
3.Load the correct driver manually. Do not use the Autorun Facility. See if the System is set to PAL not NTSC or Secam.
I think it will work for you.
Re: Video problems with Intex USB TV Tuner card
Hey guys,
I will try out your suggestions and see if it works.
However, what are the two categories of USB Laptop TV box?
How do i find out which one of those categories does my box belong to?

:thumbup1: The problem is fixed. It turned out to be problem with the video overlay settings. Just resetted it to default values and now i get the video color properly.
