Is Corsair HX620W powerful enough
I recently left tempted by a new configuration of a base core i7, including the following details:
ASUS P6T Professional
Gainward HD 4870 GS
2 WAS Velociraptor 150 GB
6 GB of RAM (Corsair 1600MHz)
Core i7 920
I had a little trouble a "clipped" the processor in its socket, I mean, I forced the well to get it back, is this normal? (Knowing that I removed the plate that protects the socket, that I have set processor in the right direction (lamp)).
With all this, I still have not chosen my power supply and I would like to go on this: Corsair HX620W, this power supply is it powerful enough to power my PC without worry? and is this a good power supply unit?.
Re: Is Corsair HX620W powerful enough
Yes, it is more than sufficient

And to this question -> I had a little trouble a "clipped" the processor in its socket, I mean, I forced the well to get it back, is this normal? (Knowing that I removed the plate that protects the socket, that I have set processor in the right direction (lamp)).
Re: Is Corsair HX620W powerful enough
Well if it works, it must be properly installed
I see no reason to worry, the "hardness" of the system for setting the processor can vary from one motherboard to another.
Re: Is Corsair HX620W powerful enough
Exactly, I still lack power so I can not see if it works, it still surprised me to go with as much "force", the metal rod is even a little "arch".
