How do i get Classic Start Menu in Windows 7
Hello Friends,
I have installed Windows 7 on my system. The problem is that how do i get to Classic Start Menu in Windows 7? It was very easy to get to Classic style in Windows Vista, but i'm unable to do it in Windows 7. Does any body have any idea that how can i do it? Any information on it would be appreciated.
Thanks a lot.

Thing is you don't have to bring back any old code, you merely have to enhance the new code. If I could do the following four items then I could simulate the old menu style for my users: (all under "Customize Start Menu")
- Set the start menu from a 2 pane/column view to a single column
- Turn the 'All Programs' item into a pop-out menu like I can with Control Panel/etc.
- Turn off the search box
- Remove the user icon from the top of the menu
You could also include a preset set of options to simulate the old menu with the new one.

You can kill the search bar by disabling windows search. I always turn that crap off in Vista, because while it is useful for searching codebases for example, it usually causes problems and is not worth it. I can get third-party apps that don't even index that search just as fast!
Is there a way to do the following, which would be a great improvement over the shit Microsooft is trying to impose on us?
a) Auto-expand all programs, so when I hit the Windows key, All programs is already expanded so I can either type in the search box, or hit up/down arrows to pick my program/folder?
b) Make it so when I press C, it takes me to Call of Duty 4 or whatever the first C app/folder is?
