Ping localhost - General failure [Internet connection problem]
Hello, I have a big problem, I really do more to connect to the internet, just in local network.
I called my ISP they tell me it was probably a problem with the configuration of the wireless network card. However, it does not work with an Ethernet cable.
I connect no problem with my old PC running under XP and Kubuntu.
When I diagnose and repair:

this is not normal that your dhcp is not enabled
But your settings to obtain ip address and dns automatically ip/v4 c if not already done so and check the advanced options of your connection is DHCP enabled
Re: Ping localhost - General failure [Internet connection problem]
By default, it was automatic and it did not work. So I manually configured the ip address and disable ipv6.
I put below the message of the diagnosis of window
Quote:
This usually means a firewall between the two computers blocking "domain". Windows has checked the Windows Firewall on this computer is correctly configured and allows the connection. It is possible, however, that a remote firewall blocking your connection.
=> The following strategy may need to be adjusted to allow Windows to connect:
Supplier of the strategy: --
Filter Name: Filter SymNetDrv Firewall OUTBOUND_TRANSPORT_V4
If the policy provider identified is Windows Firewall, click for information on adjusting the firewall settings windows. If another provider is identified strategy, see the documentation for the provider to know how to adjust policy settings.
