Re: Your network administrator has blocked Gmail chat ?
Hi zafer,
Can you please tell us which browser are you using to login to gmail account? Actually if you are using Firefox 3.5 or above version then this feature has been upgraded and is now called Clear Recent History. In addition to being able to clear all or part of your saved history items, you can specify how much of your history is cleared.
Re: Your network administrator has blocked Gmail chat ?

Re: Your network administrator has blocked Gmail chat ?
please try signing into Gmail via the secure site, available at https://mail.google.com/mail. Gmail offers this interface for extra security. Since web browsers and security software are more likely to trust encrypted data, visiting Gmail through the secure site will often resolve issues caused by those applications. If you still face this issue than Please contact your network administrator or ISP directly to determine if they have actually disabled Google Chat.
Re: Your network administrator has blocked Gmail chat ?
Friends,
I have tried all the things above...but I continue to get this message:
"Unable to reach Gmail. Please check your internet connection or company's network settings."
Please help me..
Re: Your network administrator has blocked Gmail chat ?
Are you trying this on your home internet or company's internet connection ? If it is company's than you should know that they might have blocked many such sites including gmail through their router firewall so that people can't access such website in working hours... Anyways, if you want to break their rules than you can access it through proxy sites, like atunnel.com. Open atunnel and enter gmail address in the filed provided. Thats it.
Re: Your network administrator has blocked Gmail chat ?
I also have this computer. But for some strange reason, it only happens when i use my laptop and then my gmail chat works perfectly on my pc which is literally downstairs! Its driving me mad. i thought it was my laptop so restored it to a mth ago, but still happening! I've messed around with security settings but still nothing...
I also have a 'umail' ac which is my college gmail ac and works exact same way as gmail and the chat on that works perfectly fine.
I'm using AVG anti - virus by the way... any ideas what to do?? ive cleared cahce, cookies, etc!
Re: Your network administrator has blocked Gmail chat ?
Well I can’t make out whether you are using the Gmail for this one or using the Gtalk which is the chat application and if you are facing the problem with gmail then try out the chat application and if there is issue with the chat application then uninstall the same and Lateran install the updated one. I hope that you are getting my point.
Re: Your network administrator has blocked Gmail chat ?
i have just downloading google talk and that works fine. but i want to get the gmail talk working as this is a lot easier for me with regards to work, etc.
