Maximum Ram required for Mesh Matrix xp1600+
Hello Everyone,
I'm trying to upgrade my old Mesh Matrix desktop, which is an Amd athlon xp1600+. I had installed 512 Mb Ram in it. When i try to install 1 Gb Ram in it it works fine but when i try to put 2 Gb ram, it won't boot and even doesn't load Windows properly. Can any one tell me that what is the maximum Ram capacity that would be required for Mesah Matrix xp1600+ to boot up properly on Windows Xp? Does any one have any idea about it? Kindly suggest me your vies on it.
Thanks you very much.

Xeon 2.8GHz 1MB cache with hyper-threading enabled (front-side bus at 533MHz and memory at 400MHz ), a Xeon 3.06GHz 2MB cache hyper-threading disabled (front-side bus at 800MHz and standard memory at 400MHz ).
Re: Maximum Ram required for Mesh Matrix xp1600+
The Matrix 1Ghz Ultra is similar in appearance to other Mesh systems. The processor's 512Kb Level 2 cache remains off-chip and running at one-third clock speed, in contrast to current Coppermine PIIIs with their more effective complement of 256Kb running at full core speed.

2Gb Ram fails to boot on Amd athlon xp1600+, so it is recommended that you upgrade your Amd athlon xp1600+ by 1 Gb
