Ssl error disabled with Firefox 3 on https
Hello
I have an issue with Firefox 3.0.7 to access https sites (works perfectly with Firefox 2.0.0.20, as well as IE7) PC Vista Home Basic
Therefore impossible to access a Hotmail account
This displays an error message:
An error occurred while connecting to live.com.
Secure connection possible because SSL has been disabled.
(Error code: ssl_error_ssl_disabled)
Maybe a track: There is nothing in - Tools / Options / Advanced / Encryption / View Certificates / Authorities
So with version 2.0.0.20 certifying authorities are informed
Thank you in advance for your help
Re: Ssl error disabled with Firefox 3 on https
Hello,
go to Tools> Options> Advanced> Encryption, two cases of the "Protocols" are they checked ?
Re: Ssl error disabled with Firefox 3 on https
Thank you for the answer
Yes, SSL 3.0 and TLS 1.0 checked
for certificates and choose "select one automatically"
(even if it's there!)
Other proposals for resolution?
Re: Ssl error disabled with Firefox 3 on https
The great classics to begin.
Tries already in safe mode in Firefox (without reset) and if it's the same with a new profile (without deleting the existing). Ah, yes! NT 6 ie Vista. What is your anti-virus and your firewall?
Re: Ssl error disabled with Firefox 3 on https
Same problem
- In safe mode
- With a different profile
Protection software
- Antivirus: Antivir vira A (Basic)
- Windows Defender
- + More recently (but the problem was already present before)
- Anti-spy: Terminator Antispyware (2.5.5.166)
I recall the following
- In FF 3.0.7 or certificates or authorities who are responsible for the installation and not for access to https sites
- In FF 2.0.0.20 and they are responsible to access https sites possible
