Problem with Asus EEE 901
hi,
I want to buy a EEE 901. But I will take the version with the SSD of 16go and will change the SSD with one of 32 or 64. But I have some questions. To reinstall XP, I will need a reader DVD USB inevitably? And I will be able to put XP Pro, even if it is sold with the family version? Is what I will be able to do of the partitions on the SSD? Is the RAM, 1gb, that enough or it would be advised to put 2gb of it? Any recommendations and suggestions are appreciated.

You will need a dvd usb, or then to pass via a key usb, but for xp I do not know if it is feasible, why left the linux of asus? For the xp pro yes!
Re: Problem with Asus EEE 901
why you do not take the ASUS Eee PC 901 , it holds approximately 4:30 and has a more powerful graphic part as well as a mechanical disc of 160Gb. would cost you less than to pass to a ssd.
Re: Problem with Asus EEE 901
It makes only 4mm thickness in more and 6mm moreover in width. I think that by removing you from the DD of 160Gb for a SSD you will make a better deal, and you will gain also much much in autonomy.
