Powerpoint 2007 not responding

Hello there,

I do lot of presentation work on MS PowerPoint. But from last 3-4 days PowerPoint showing not responding message again and again. Anyone know how to fix it?

Check for following stuff:

• If your Antivirus is using Office plug-in, then disable it.
• File extension - .ppt files or .pptx files.
• All your drivers and updates

Try this:

1. Open Start menu, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Office Tools
2. Then click Microsoft Office Application Recovery.
3. Click Recover Application to save changes or End Application
4. Click Send Error Report or Don't Send.

Try uninstalling and reinstall.
Delete the Microsoft Office folder located under Program Files, restart the system and reinstall. If you still face the same problem, I would recommend doing a clean installation.

If you are facing problem with MS office. You can try Open Office. It has all features of MS Office. Just give a try.:biggrin:
