MP4 file support for Windows Movie Maker

Hi,

Does Windows Movie Maker support .mp4 files? if yes then please provide me some useful solution to that enable importing MP4 files Windows Movie Maker .

Yes and it does not accept mp4s. mp4 is not a supported file type, and it cannot be imported into Windows Movie Maker.

One really annoying thing with using digital still cameras for videoblogging is that Windows Movie Maker can't open the source footage. Most cameras record in MPEG-4 format (an .MP4 or .MOV file) and Movie Maker can only work with files that Windows Media Player can open.

You can use QuickPlayer for that. It supports mp4 without any prob.

You can use any mp4 into wmv or into avi to convert mp4 file and can use it in movie maker.
