How to move Special folders in Windows Vista
I know it's very difficult to move the special folder like My music, My documents etc using property sheet.After finding a lot i have got an very simple steps which you need to follow for moving special folders.

PC Configuration:-

Amd 9550
gigabyte 780 with Intel Chipset
2gb ram
300 gb HDD
9600 gt 512

Following are the steps for moving a special folder to a different drive or path :-
  • First create the destination folder.
  • Click on Start.
  • Than right-click on the special folder like My Documents, Music, or Pictures and then choose Properties.
  • Click on Location tab.
  • Select Move and select the target folder.
  • Click on Apply.
  • Click Yes when prompted to move the files to new location.
  • Click OK.

There is one more way of doing it by going through registry following are the steps for it.
  1. Click on Start.
  2. Type regedit.exe in Run Option.
  3. Now navigate through the Following path

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Explorer/Shell Folders
  4. Double-click on the shell folder name
  5. Now change the Value data accordingly
    • Desktop %USERPROFILE%\Desktop
    • Favorites %USERPROFILE%\Favorites
    • History %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\History
    • Local AppData %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local
    • My Music %USERPROFILE%\Music
    • My Pictures %USERPROFILE%\Pictures
    • My Video %USERPROFILE%\Videos
    • Nethood %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Network Shortcuts
    • Personal %USERPROFILE%\Documents
  6. Now close Regedit.exe and reboot your PC for changes to be done.
