Re: Use gparted on windows
You can boot on a usb key with GParted, explanations on the site of GParted: http://gparted.sourceforge.net/liveusb.php page where it tells you how to make your bootable usb key, whether manually (see "choice 2") or through a program designed for that purpose (see "choice 1").
If you want to prepare the usb key from Windows, the procedure "Extract files and make bootable USB flash drive under MS windows",
if it is from a Linux, "Extract files and make bootable USB flash drive under GNU / Linux".
Where are you stuck exactly?
Re: Use gparted on windows
already a big thank you for your reply,,,,, especially to Gparted on the key and it is usable, because I managed to save Gpartedlive usb but it was only files "inactive" ( sorry I'm a novice but I really want to learn).
I click the first link? live usb helper?
I unzip my key, but I do a live on the computer?
I unzipped on the computer too but nothing happens ... no set up
As It does not work with the "automatic" I try to do that manually, and I do not know if it has the key, but I can not "create a DOS startup disk" in " using internal MS-DOS system files
