Hello,
How to revive the use of K-Mail Firefox 3.0.3? Since the shift from the 2008.1 this possibility is no longer "functional".
What do I edit in about: config?
Thank you in advance.

Hello,
I think you mix 2 things that are independent, to my knowledge:
Firefox is the browser Mozilla
Kmail is the manager of mail from the KDE project (one of the offices available) as several other tools (eg Konqueror is the browser of the KDE project)
Kmail is embedded in Kontact, this software is that it must start to use KMail.
Best regards
Hello,
I am in complete agreement. Of course I run Kontact.
However I insist that I could start earlier K-Mail Firefox ... and that since 2009 the shift towards this possibility is no longer available.
I tried to use the edit in about: con figure which had been suggested but to do so (?) It no longer works.
Outside I find that many reasonable opportunity which I think is good practice.
Thank you.
if not why don't you use Thunderbird
Hello,
I just make the change, and restart FF: nothing, nada, as mentioned in my previous messages
There is another line, similar, with the "mail", or rather there was a similar line with another mail client.
Thuderbird, so why not, but for now I prefer K-mail. It should, unless I am mistaken, be possible to "transfer" the parameters (filter, respect of mail from one application to another.
Nevertheless, for the moment, there is something ... It seems to me that the shift was wrong because sometimes KDE a "blank screen" or with no return to normal, although I must sometimes close and reopen the session ...
if I understood the information circulating on M2009.0, there is a bug.
I did not use Kmail through Firefox.
In the meantime, I have transfer all my files from my old PC to a + powerful, for example, there is no export function in KMail!
And I can not see my dvd Dolphin (Mandriva 2008 -> 2009) the new file manager (I think I would rather Konqueror).
