Download ATI Catalyst Beta driver 8.12 package for Windows 7
Until the Catalyst 9.1 are emerging AMD has just put online a new beta version 8.12 of its pilots who had recently been distributed to the press.
These fixes a bug that could cause a BSOD with the Radeon HD 4850 when used in CrossFireX mode. Moreover, optimization can tap processors with more than two hearts with some DirectX 10 titles, in order to gain performance is now integrated. According to the manufacturer, only the Radeon HD 4000 are affected.

Since the catalyst 8.12 I tape a few BSOD on cetains games (DMC4, CoD5 for example) but on a CF 4870. Hopefully this is the same bug corrected here Moreover, optimization can tap processors with more than two hearts with some DirectX 10 titles

that means we move a driver who uses only 1 core to a driver that works on 4? dual and then? What's good for my future config is happening these days

If the display driver fails to load, and reports a Code 39 error after installation,
the following steps to disable Driver Signature Enforcement and install the
play driver
For Dual Boot Systems
- Boot system
- Press F8 at the Boot Options Menu
- Choose Disable Driver Signature Enforcement in the Advanced Boot
- Options menu
- Press Enter
For Single Boot Systems
- After the system BIOS screen, press F8
- Choose Disable Driver Signature Enforcement in the Advanced Boot
- Options menu

My 9800 XT is giving me blue screen on boot into the OS with the native driver. Does anyone have a running 9800 XT? If you do then I know it's me :)
