Reduce the size of desktop icons in Vista
By default, the system offers a size of icons that in my opinion, too cumbersome.
Now you can cut the size as per your liking in an easy way:
- Click with the mouse on a blank desktop
- Press and hold down the CTRL key, and simultaneously turn the mouse wheel.

That trick did not work for me. Are you sure you posted it correctly?

To me, it worked perfectly. Nice trick. No need to go in properties and all that long way. Thanks for sharing your knowledge :)

I guess you must be trying it Windows XP. Otherwise it works perfectly in Vista. As I have already mentioned in the title, this is only for Windows Vista.

Oh yes. I didn't notice the title. I was trying in windows XP. Then I checked it ona a Vista machine and it really works :whistling
