Hello Everyone,
I just bought RW 4.2, and I am delighted.
I started to tinker and explore the "base" of the software, and I realize that beyond the pages Pre-established, there is a huge opportunity. This is demonstrated by the posts on this board!
I appeal to your advice!
With no training in the code and programming, are there books or sites, which begin for all that I read on the forum me more understandable.
How to exploit the html for example? CSS?
I have in my possession "Dreamweaver 8 for dummies", what do you think?
Thank you for your help and your advice.
Hello
I think the book Dreamweaver over RapidWeaver you used to do nothing.
It would be better to read a book about HTML, stylesheets in css. This will be more rewarding for you. And then the best way to learn is to practice, to try to put online, and be wrong again! You do not need, first, to put their hands in dirty HTML tags That will come later, when you want to do things a little more difficult.
One of the major interests of RapidWeaver is that it is accessible to most beginners in HTML, but also set to wish for people already experienced in this language.
That's my opinion.
Good day.

Re: Beginners Search Tips
Hello,
There is a plethora of books on HTML and CSS, the only problem is that books become outdated quickly enough, hence the need if we want to choose one that is a good basis (General ). I think of "HTML 4, XML and Java 2" Campus Press for Html or "CSS 2, Web Design practice of" Raphael Goetter at Eyrolles.
And speaking of Eyrolles, go to visit their site, you will have a good view of what exists.
There are also a lot of sites, some of which are cited in the posts of this forum or the old forum.
The advantage of this site is that they stick to more or less the news.
