Dell Studio XPS 13 (Adamo)
The upcoming Dell Adamo seems to be the XPS13: a thinner than Air (Macbook Air, that said) laptop that might not beat Apple in terms of design, but most likely beat them in price and possibly comfort, thanks to the leather-wrapping. The price of the Macbook Air basically prevented it from getting any significant market share and there's a good opportunity for Dell here. I hope that the XPS13 looks better in real-life than it does in these pictures (the pic above is the best shot) - we'll see soon enough. The bottom line is: customers want light and cheap and Dell might just give them that! Check out the photo gallery

Re: Dell Studio XPS 13 (Adamo)
Apparently the device -- which the company plans to market as the "world's thinnest laptop" -- was slated to be released this month, but has been pushed back till at least February. The Adamo will sport a black and silver color scheme similar to the system you see here, but is "different," and we're told that it's most definitely Dell's play to nab some of that MacBook Air marketshare. We're working on some photos of that, but until those come through, enjoy the gallery below!
Dell Confirms Adamo Will Go Up Against MacBook Air
Dell spokesman Bob Kaufman has confirmed that Dell will be working on the Adamo notebook, and this model will be a rival to Apple's MacBook Air. Expectations are high that Dell will unveil its razor thin notebook at CES next month, although we won't be disappointed if they didn't as there will still be tons of consumer electronics and gadgets to look forward to on the showfloor. Do you think that Dell will be able to outdo the MacBook Air in terms of performance? They'll definitely win hands down where pricing is concerned, of course, so it is up to Dell to work on the MacBook Air's weaknesses in the Adamo to make it a success.
