Google and DataViz: New Applications for Android
Gradually, the panel software running on the Android system grows and we learn that Google and DataViz have announced other compatible applications.
In April 2007, Google launched My Maps, a web service to personalize the results of Google Maps by adding information to geographic data such as the location of restaurants or hotels. Today, the giant Mountain View, and principal sponsor of Android, provides My Map Editor, a tool not only to publish maps on his computer but also to synchronize directly with compatible devices, to know for the moment, G1 HTC.
For its part, DataViz, announced in 2009, two of its products will appear on the new mobile platform: Documents To Go and RoadSync.
Compatible with smartphones from Palm, Symbian, Windows Mobile and Blackberry, the office suite Documents To Go allows you to create or edit documents (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) directly from their mobile and synchronize with your PC desktop. RoadSync is a software to get its data in order to push Blackberry. RoadSync functionate currently smartphones running Windows Mobile Palm OS and Symbian connected to a Microsoft Exchange server. DataViz to put a form available to be notified of their availability for Android.
