How does your CPU e4300/e4400
Waiting for my e4400 is coming so I thought it might be fun to see a little bit how fast your 4300/4400 is so you can see a little bit to be expected little CPU-z and superpi and 3dmark results would be fun to see a little info would be nice with what you have for the motherboard and memory sticks, etc.
Re: How does your CPU e4300/e4400
3.3GHz stable with the original cooler.
3.5GHz is stable enough to print screens and others.
Re: How does your CPU e4300/e4400
Ok, but it's good momentum.
How mycet v-core, you feed it with the speeds they do??
Re: How does your CPU e4300/e4400
Yes has run the 3.1 GHz with 1.5 vcore, yes start suspecting memory, and it is then yes try to get up in the 3,3-3,4 GHz :)
EDIT: 3,35 GHz and is testing it in ortho now :) but yes, the FSB wall at 396mhz also :(
Re: How does your CPU e4300/e4400
Seems to be common with the FSB wall on those. Have seen that many go down in multi to get higher but do not know how often it works.
Re: How does your CPU e4300/e4400
My FSB-wall is somewhere in the vicinity of 400fsb, you get the e4400 or e4500, do not worry with such a high multiplier.
I did some tests regarding higher FSB and performance, at the same CPU frequency and memory frequency. It appeared that at least on the P965 gave higher FSB poor performance in many cases, depending on the straps of the chip.
Re: How does your CPU e4300/e4400
Has tested my 4300 but hell huh hot it gets.
1.325v about 47c 3000mhz full load ortho and tat around 70 - 75c
1.425v about 57c around 3400 + ugly load, I dare not test :(
The original cooler is so feeble :( think my temps are a little too heated
driving with Artic silver in between.
Re: How does your CPU e4300/e4400
Some step restructuring is the right warm, you can probably buy any fatter cooler
